Maeve draws on three core sources to build its recommendations. State licensing records from official health department datasets give us verified facility status across all 50 states. Publicly available care data — including datasets with academic provenance — informs quality and care history. And aggregated review signals from public sources are processed for meaningful patterns, not raw sentiment. Together, these sources give Maeve a grounded, honest picture of every facility she recommends.
